Job Description

Primary Purpose:

Provide functional Sales leadership for the field sales organization, possessing the ability to work across the organization to deliver results. Responsibilities include reporting, budget setting and management, sales process optimization, local marketing and national promotion oversight and coordination, business Development, and overall administration.  Serve as the primary liaison for field sales management and personnel in all retail sales related projects.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Find and build profitable business relationships with other business partners; which may include co-locating, establishing strategic partnerships that increase sales or sales opportunities, and finding products that will enhance the customer experience and meet their needs
  • Create and drive major sales initiatives 
  • Review and edit all field sales communications before they are released, and often create and distribute said communications regarding critical process changes, regulatory needs or company policies
  • Provide reporting and metrics to the field sales organization, utilizing various tools including MS Excel, MS Access, and other internal reporting portals
  • Provide sales input and direction for multiple annual national promotions, including providing overall direction and procedural documentation to field sales managers for distribution, ordering necessary promotional materials, participating on contest winner selection committees, and tracking results
  • Direct management of Sales Admin Assistant
  • Manage inventory of all marketing promo items and printed collateral used in the field, including establishing order thresholds and reorder quantities, reviewing new item options, and approving vendor quotes and invoices
  • Sales representative for all retail sales related special projects, including all IT related projects or enhancements, facilities projects, etc. 
  • Gather and provide sales related input, document and/or review business requirements, perform system tests, create and/or review training documentation, assist with training efforts, and/or coordinate implementation and track results. 
  • Owner of CRM solutions
  • Plan and coordinate the annual Sales Summit for the entire retail sales management team; which will include venue selection and all vendor contract negotiations, budget management, materials and supplies ordering, agenda creation, logistics management, offsite activity coordination, etc. 
  • Assist with preparing content for annual sales kickoff meetings for field agents

  • Bachelor’s Degree or in-lieu of degree equivalent education, training and work-related experience
  • Proven decision maker and independent thinker

  • Must perform well in high-energy, dynamic and team-oriented environments

  • Demonstrated integrity within a professional environment
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint)

  • Experience with CRM
