Job Description

The Informatica Administrator will be responsible for the administration, maintenance, and support of the Informatica platform. This role requires a highly skilled individual with experience in data integration, data management, and ensuring the optimal performance of Informatica applications. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of ETL processes, strong problem-solving abilities, and the capability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

•  Install, configure, patch, and upgrade Informatica software and tools.

•  Manage and maintain Informatica environments, including production, development, and test systems.

•  Monitor system performance, identify issues, and implement solutions to optimize performance.

•  Ensure data integrity and security across all Informatica environments.

•  Develop and implement best practices for ETL processes and data integration.

•  Collaborate with development teams to design and implement data integration solutions.

•  Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to Informatica applications and infrastructure.

•  Perform regular system backups and disaster recovery planning.

•  Document processes, procedures, and system configurations.

•  Provide support and training to end-users and team members.

Education

• 4 year Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (Preferred)

Experience

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in Informatica administration and support.

• Strong knowledge of Informatica PowerCenter, Informatica Cloud, and other Informatica tools.

• Strong knowledge with Shell Scripting (e.g., Bash, Korn, Awk, PowerShell).

• Experience with Unix/Linux OS.

• Experience with SQL and relational databases (e.g., Oracle, SQL Server).

• Familiarity with data warehousing concepts and ETL processes.

• Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

• Experience with performance tuning and optimization of Informatica processes.

• Knowledge of cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure) is a plus.

• Knowledge of data streaming technologies (e.g., Kafka, Kinesis) is a plus.

Supervisory Responsibilities

• This job does not have supervisory duties.

• In lieu of the above education requirements, an equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered.

Compensation

Compensation offered for this role is $92,560.00 - 141,830.00 annually and is based on experience and qualifications.
