Job Description

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Ivanti ITSM System Administrator with expertise in ServiceNow to join our IT team. This role is essential in maintaining and optimizing our IT Service Management systems to improve service delivery, increase efficiency, and support our business operations. The ideal candidate will have in-depth knowledge of Ivanti ITSM and practical experience with ServiceNow, as well as the ability to manage and enhance ITSM workflows, integrations, and overall system functionality.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Administer, configure, and maintain the Ivanti ITSM platform to support IT service management processes.
  • Oversee system updates, patches, and configuration changes to ensure optimal performance and security.
  • Maintain and monitor system health, security, and capacity, ensuring consistent and reliable operations.
  • Support different levels of integrations with other systems like Asset Discovery and Active Directory.
  • Use expertise in ServiceNow to integrate with Ivanti ITSM where needed, ensuring seamless data flow and interoperability between platforms.
  • Support any migrations, data syncs, or process bridging required between Ivanti and ServiceNow environments.
  • Develop and refine workflows, automation rules, and escalations to streamline ITSM processes (e.g., Incident, Problem, Change, and Configuration Management).
  • Optimize system performance and user experience through customized automation and scripting.
  • Provide training, technical support, and troubleshooting to end-users and stakeholders using the ITSM systems.
  • Develop documentation and training materials to support system users.
  • Ensure accuracy and quality of data, performing regular audits and updates to keep information current.
  • Create and manage reports and dashboards that provide visibility into key ITSM metrics for performance tracking and decision-making.
  • Ensure ITSM operations comply with organizational policies, regulatory requirements, and ITIL best practices.
  • Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance IT service quality and efficiency.

Technical Skills:

  • Strong understanding of IT Service Management (ITSM) principles and ITIL framework.
  • Proficiency in Ivanti ITSM platform with knowledge of ServiceNow preferred.
  • Familiarity with automation tools, scripting and data integration.

Soft Skills:

  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills to support end-users and cross-functional teams.
  • Self-motivated, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Preferred Qualifications:

Education and Experience

  • 7 or more years of related experience in Administering ITSM platforms.
  • 4 year Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience.

Certificates, Licenses, Registrations

  • ITIL Certification.
  • Certifications in Ivanti and/or ServiceNow administration.
  • Experience with workflow automation tools and integration platforms (e.g., API management, web services).



Compensation

Compensation offered for this role is $95,700.00 - 145,850.00 annually and is based on experience and qualifications.
