Job Description

The Software Engineer Lead Consultant architects and designs their digital products using modern tools, technologies, frameworks, and systems. They apply a systematic application of scientific and technological knowledge, methods, and experience to the design, implementation, testing, and documentation of software. They own and manage running their application in production, and ultimately becomes accountable for the success of their digital products through achieving KPIs.

Key Responsibilities

• Leads and participates in daily site, cross-site, and product team standups.
• Participate in inceptions and iteration planning meetings, infusing backlogs with technical input working in close partnership with the product manager.
• Coaches the team and leads daily practices of using paired programming and test-driven development in writing software and building products.
• Serves as an expert on one or more business domain and a distinguished advocate of multiple technology stacks and shares that knowledge across organizations.
• Partners in collaboration and strategy alignment across product portfolios (cross-product) in partnership with product managers, other peers and key stakeholders.
• Leads and participates in retrospectives; demonstrating and encouraging each participant to provide feedback with empathy.
• Provides support for software products in user environments.
• Establishes continuous integration, continuous delivery, and continuous deployment pipelines and practices.
• Ability to co-ordinate work with offshore resources including meeting and performing peer reviews of the work delivered.

Qualifications:

• Education: Bachelors degree in computer science, Information Technology or a related field.
• 12+ months experience in Lender Placed Insurance Tracking and Loss Draft business services, associated processes, systems knowledge and hands-on application development experience in a lead role.

Experience:

• Minimum of 5 years of experience as  a full stack Microsoft developer.

Technical skills:

• Development in classic ASP, Angular, Blazor.
• Development for Web UI, web services, API.
• Familiar with latest security protocols.
• Strong Microsoft SQL knowledge (T-SQL, Database design).
• Create technical design documents.
• Experience with cloud-based data platforms (e.g. Azure, AWS) is a plus.

Soft Skills:

• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Strong communication and collaboration abilities.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously.

Compensation

Compensation offered for this role is $95,700.00 - 145,850.00 annually and is based on experience and qualifications.
